CE-ATA Plugfest#1 is open to all companies working on CE-ATA compatible products – including host system vendors, host adapter card vendors, device vendors, cable & connector vendors, silicon vendors, OS vendors, test tool vendors, etc.  It is not required that vendors be members of the CE-ATA Working Group.  There is no registration fee as major cost will be covered by the sponsors.  Participants are only responsible for their testing/sleeping suite cost, if needed.

When

The dates for this event are Tue April 25 – Thur 27, 2006.  Vendors may opt to stay longer and schedule debug sessions with one another, if needed.  The registration and parcipant agreement forms are due back on April 12, 2006.  Please return the forms to Echa Chang via either:

How

2-hour test sessions will be arranged between roaming vendors and stationary vendors.  Engineers must accompany all equipment tested.

Stationary vendors should consist of(require a testing suite):

-Host
-Silicon
-OS
-Test Tools(recommended to have a host attached ahead of time)

Roaming vendors should consist of:

-Adapter Card
-Device
-Cable & Connector(recommended to have a device attached ahead of time)

All participants are required to book the hotel suites(either test/sleeping rooms) directly on your own with Embassy Suites Milpitas. Please call 1-800-EMBASSY(1-800-3622779), and ask for the “Block of rooms under INTEL CEATA” no later than 04/11/06.  Single room rate is $159.00 + 10.08% occupancy tax.  This is a special CE-ATA Plugfest rate.  This rate includes breakfast from 6:00a.m.~ 9:30a.m.and Managers Reception from 5:30p.m. ~ 7:30p.m. with complimentary drinks.
